dan sebelumnya maaf,, ini dengan mb lingga.. bukan ms lingga.. hhe :-D
iya pak,, tentang penelitian skripsi saya ini,, dari awal sebenarnya saya juga sudah pernah mengkonsultasikan ke dosen pembimbing untuk lebih memfokuskan penelitian ke Zr,, karena mengingat presentase Zr yang cukup tinggi.. sekitar 60 persenan (pasir asli) dan Zr juga bukan material murah (dan juga banyak sekali keunggulannya,, disamping Ti),, tapi beliau mintanya Ti saja,,
karena ini proyek dosen,, jadi ya saya ngikut saja,, hhe..
masalah kedepannya ntahlah nanti kaya gimana,, digeser ke ekstraksi Zr atau tetap Ti,, dilihat hasilnya dulu..
sebenarnya kalo menurut saya intinya hampir sama,, walaupun fokus saya pada ekstraksi TiO2,, disini saya juga banyak belajar mengenai pemisahan Zz dari senyawa2 pengotor.. karena logikanya,, kalo bisa mengambil Ti nya,, otomatis fraksi mol Zr juga akan meningkat..
*Pak Michael,, sebenarnya saya sangat ingin sekali membaca dan mempelajari tesis bapak sebagai bahan referensi,, tapi saya domisili di Malang,,
kalau mungkin bapak tidak keberatan,, saya boleh minta tlng dikirimkn softfilenya pak..
-sekali lagi mohon maaf pak,, merepotkan bpk..
*soalnya di Fisika Universitas Negeri Malang,, untuk ekstraksi Ti,, seperti nya baru saya yang pertama pak,, sebelum2nya fisika material UM lebih konsen dengan nanotech,, film tipis,, dan kristalografi..

Kalau saya boleh sarankan kenapa tidak coba meng-upgrade Zr saja? Rutile kita tidak ada industrinya, bahkan pengepul di Indonesia saja belum ada. Tapi kalau Zr di Kalbar, di Kalteng sudah ada beberapa 'pengepul' Zr. Selama ini Zr dijual kiloan dan paling2 maksimal dibuat konsentrat lalu dijual ke Cina. Zr itu logam mahal. Kalau gak salah dosen saya bilang murninya dijual gram-an.
Layar TV, HP dsb sangat memerlukan Zr. Di Indonesia (Kalteng-Kalbar) orang menambang Zr cuman seperti nambang galian C dijual kilo-an dan karungan. Saya pernah dapat proyek survey Zr di Kalteng mungkin 7 tahuanan lalu. Ketika itu Zr kalau tidak salah dijual per kg 9rb atau 18 rb ditempat dengan kadar 30-40% kalau tidak salah.
Beberapa waktu lalu di Kompas kalau tidak salah ada ditampilkan profile ketua pengusaha penambang Zircon. Selama ini mereka untuk buat konsentrat pun tenaga ahli-nya datangkan dari Cina daratan. Artinya masih ada prospek yg menjanjikan dari harga mineral yg cukup ekonomis disamping pemurniannya.
Untuk Rutile / TiO2 di Indonesia bahan bakunya sepertinya masih sangat tergantung dari pasir besi yg berkadar TiO2 rendah. Di Indonesia juga belum ada industrinya. Dan satu lagi Rutile (sebagai bibit untuk pewarna) juga sudah punya pesaing bibit pewarna sintetis kalau tidak salah. Mohon di-cek.
Tapi tetaplah semangat, karena minat keilmuan sudah seharusnya tidak tergantung paa prospek uang. Tapi kalau bisa diarahkan ke pasar, penelitian anda akan mudah terbantu oleh sponsor atau dijual.
Saya tidak punya no pak Indarto Katim, coba anda search saja di jurnal2 tentang ekstraksi pasir besi menjadi TiO2 ada banyak sekali penelitian beliau. Coba tanyakan saja ke lembaga Metalurgi LIPI serpang alamat email dan tlp beliau.
Catatan : Iron sand dari pulau Bangka bisa mencapai 40% TiO2 nya pada kondisi natural

alhamdulillah,,
terimasih sekali infonya.. pak Michael,,setelah kemarin mencoba membandingkan beberapa sampel,, sebenarnya presentasi pasir awal yang saya gunakan sudah cukup tinggi,, kadar awalnta sekitar 18 persen,,
kemarin setelah separasi magnet naik menjadi 24 persen,, dengan komposisi mayor tertinggi adalah Zr..
menurut referensi yang saya baca,, unutuk pemisahan fisis,, antara Zr dan Ti sedikit susah,, karena keduanya cenderung bersifat paramagnetik/diamagnet..
sedangkan untuk pemisahan berdasarkan berat jenis pun,, sepertinya juga sulit,, karena massa atom relatifnya yang hampir sama,,
*salah satu solusinya dengan leaching,,
*maaf pak,, selain magnetik separation,, bapak dulu pakai metode apa saja ya??
ooiya,, mau tanya.
bagaimana kalau misal saya ingin mengkontak beliau ( Ir.Indarto)?

Dulu thesis master saya di (Material) Fisika UI tentang perbandingan ekstraksi antara hasil pasir besi dari Cilacap dan dari Bangka.
dari Cilacap kadar TiO2 sekitar 8% bisa di upgrade sampai 81-83%. Dari pasir besi Bangka yang awalnya sudah sekitar 30-40% bisa upgrade sampai 85% kalau tidak salah. Saya lupa angka pastinya. Karena kemudian saya meninggalkan bidang tsb pada pekerjaan.
Thesis tsb ada di Program Pasca Sarjana Material UI di Salemba, kalau di Jakarta coba bisa tanya ke petugas untuk liat. Ada 2 thesis yg sama dengan tujuan anda.
Tapi yg paling mumpuni sebaiknya anda coba kontak bapak Ir.Indarto Katim di Puslitbang Metalurgi LIPI Serpong, beliau orang tambang metalurgi yang bertahun-tahun berkutat pada penelitian ekstraksi Rutile di pasir besi. Saya pikir beliau lah pakar yang paling tepat untuk bertanya.

saya,, mahasiswi fisika material smester 8 yang saat ini sedang sibuk memulai dan melanjutkan penelitian terkait dengan ekstraksi titanium dioksida dari pasir mineral..
kendala terbesar selama penelitian ini,, adalah kurangnya informasi dan referensi terkait dengan ekstraksi,,
kalau mungkin mas2/mb2 di sini ada yang sedikit banyak mengetahui tentang topik penelitian yang saya lakukan,,
saya mohon dengan sangat bantuannya,,

Zirconium oxide di dunia Instrumentasi sering dipakai untuk sensor O2,
karena pada temperature tertentu mempunyai korelasi antara beda potensial
dan kandungan oxigen.

Zirconium oxide di dunia Instrumentasi sering dipakai untuk sensor O2,
karena pada temperature tertentu mempunyai korelasi antara beda potensial
dan kandungan oxigen.

tentang ekstraksi pasir besi menjadi TiO2 ada banyak sekali penelitian
beliau. Coba tanyakan saja ke lembaga Metalurgi LIPI serpang alamat email
dan tlp beliau.
Catatan : Iron sand dari pulau Bangka bisa mencapai 40% TiO2 nya pada
kondisi natural

terimasih sekali infonya.. pak Michael,,setelah kemarin mencoba
membandingkan beberapa sampel,, sebenarnya presentasi pasir awal yang saya
gunakan sudah cukup tinggi,, kadar awalnta sekitar 18 persen,,
kemarin setelah separasi magnet naik menjadi 24 persen,, dengan komposisi
mayor tertinggi adalah Zr..
menurut referensi yang saya baca,, unutuk pemisahan fisis,, antara Zr dan
Ti sedikit susah,, karena keduanya cenderung bersifat
paramagnetik/
sedangkan untuk pemisahan berdasarkan berat jenis pun,, sepertinya juga
sulit,, karena massa atom relatifnya yang hampir sama,,
*salah satu solusinya dengan leaching,,
*maaf pak,, selain magnetik separation,, bapak dulu pakai metode apa saja
ya??

Dulu thesis master saya di (Material) Fisika UI tentang perbandingan
ekstraksi antara hasil pasir besi dari Cilacap dan dari Bangka.
dari Cilacap kadar TiO2 sekitar 8% bisa di upgrade sampai 81-83%. Dari
pasir besi Bangka yang awalnya sudah sekitar 30-40% bisa upgrade sampai
85% kalau tidak salah. Saya lupa angka pastinya. Karena kemudian saya
meninggalkan bidang tsb pada pekerjaan.
Thesis tsb ada di Program Pasca Sarjana Material UI di Salemba, kalau di
Jakarta coba bisa tanya ke petugas untuk liat. Ada 2 thesis yg sama dengan
tujuan anda.
Tapi yg paling mumpuni sebaiknya anda coba kontak bapak Ir.Indarto Katim
di Puslitbang Metalurgi LIPI Serpong, beliau orang tambang metalurgi yang
bertahun-tahun berkutat pada penelitian ekstraksi Rutile di pasir besi.
Saya pikir beliau lah pakar yang paling tepat untuk bertanya.

dan sebelumnya maaf,, ini dengan mb lingga.. bukan ms lingga.. hhe :-D
iya pak,, tentang penelitian skripsi saya ini,, dari awal sebenarnya saya juga sudah pernah mengkonsultasikan ke dosen pembimbing untuk lebih memfokuskan penelitian ke Zr,, karena mengingat presentase Zr yang cukup tinggi.. sekitar 60 persenan (pasir asli) dan Zr juga bukan material murah (dan juga banyak sekali keunggulannya,, disamping Ti),, tapi beliau mintanya Ti saja,,
karena ini proyek dosen,, jadi ya saya ngikut saja,, hhe..
masalah kedepannya ntahlah nanti kaya gimana,, digeser ke ekstraksi Zr atau tetap Ti,, dilihat hasilnya dulu..
sebenarnya kalo menurut saya intinya hampir sama,, walaupun fokus saya pada ekstraksi TiO2,, disini saya juga banyak belajar mengenai pemisahan Zz dari senyawa2 pengotor.. karena logikanya,, kalo bisa mengambil Ti nya,, otomatis fraksi mol Zr juga akan meningkat..

Kalau saya boleh sarankan kenapa tidak coba meng-upgrade Zr saja? Rutile kita tidak ada industrinya, bahkan pengepul di Indonesia saja belum ada. Tapi kalau Zr di Kalbar, di Kalteng sudah ada beberapa 'pengepul' Zr. Selama ini Zr dijual kiloan dan paling2 maksimal dibuat konsentrat lalu dijual ke Cina. Zr itu logam mahal. Kalau gak salah dosen saya bilang murninya dijual gram-an.
Layar TV, HP dsb sangat memerlukan Zr. Di Indonesia (Kalteng-Kalbar) orang menambang Zr cuman seperti nambang galian C dijual kilo-an dan karungan. Saya pernah dapat proyek survey Zr di Kalteng mungkin 7 tahuanan lalu. Ketika itu Zr kalau tidak salah dijual per kg 9rb atau 18 rb ditempat dengan kadar 30-40% kalau tidak salah.
Beberapa waktu lalu di Kompas kalau tidak salah ada ditampilkan profile ketua pengusaha penambang Zircon. Selama ini mereka untuk buat konsentrat pun tenaga ahli-nya datangkan dari Cina daratan. Artinya masih ada prospek yg menjanjikan dari harga mineral yg cukup ekonomis disamping pemurniannya.
Untuk Rutile / TiO2 di Indonesia bahan bakunya sepertinya masih sangat tergantung dari pasir besi yg berkadar TiO2 rendah. Di Indonesia juga belum ada industrinya. Dan satu lagi Rutile (sebagai bibit untuk pewarna) juga sudah punya pesaing bibit pewarna sintetis kalau tidak salah. Mohon di-cek.

Beberapa waktu lalu di Kompas kalau tidak salah ada ditampilkan profile ketua pengusaha penambang Zircon. Selama ini mereka untuk buat konsentrat pun tenaga ahli-nya datangkan dari Cina daratan. Artinya masih ada prospek yg menjanjikan dari harga mineral yg cukup ekonomis disamping pemurniannya.
Untuk Rutile / TiO2 di Indonesia bahan bakunya sepertinya masih sangat tergantung dari pasir besi yg berkadar TiO2 rendah. Di Indonesia juga belum ada industrinya. Dan satu lagi Rutile (sebagai bibit untuk pewarna) juga sudah punya pesaing bibit pewarna sintetis kalau tidak salah. Mohon di-cek.
Tapi tetaplah semangat, karena minat keilmuan sudah seharusnya tidak tergantung paa prospek uang. Tapi kalau bisa diarahkan ke pasar, penelitian anda akan mudah terbantu oleh sponsor atau dijual.
Saya tidak punya no pak Indarto Katim, coba anda search saja di jurnal2 tentang ekstraksi pasir besi menjadi TiO2 ada banyak sekali penelitian beliau. Coba tanyakan saja ke lembaga Metalurgi LIPI serpang alamat email dan tlp beliau.
Catatan : Iron sand dari pulau Bangka bisa mencapai 40% TiO2 nya pada kondisi natural

terimasih sekali infonya.. pak Michael,,setelah kemarin mencoba membandingkan beberapa sampel,, sebenarnya presentasi pasir awal yang saya gunakan sudah cukup tinggi,, kadar awalnta sekitar 18 persen,,
kemarin setelah separasi magnet naik menjadi 24 persen,, dengan komposisi mayor tertinggi adalah Zr..
menurut referensi yang saya baca,, unutuk pemisahan fisis,, antara Zr dan Ti sedikit susah,, karena keduanya cenderung bersifat paramagnetik/diamagnet..
sedangkan untuk pemisahan berdasarkan berat jenis pun,, sepertinya juga sulit,, karena massa atom relatifnya yang hampir sama,,
*salah satu solusinya dengan leaching,,
*maaf pak,, selain magnetik separation,, bapak dulu pakai metode apa saja ya??
ooiya,, mau tanya.

Dulu thesis master saya di (Material) Fisika UI tentang perbandingan ekstraksi antara hasil pasir besi dari Cilacap dan dari Bangka.
dari Cilacap kadar TiO2 sekitar 8% bisa di upgrade sampai 81-83%. Dari pasir besi Bangka yang awalnya sudah sekitar 30-40% bisa upgrade sampai 85% kalau tidak salah. Saya lupa angka pastinya. Karena kemudian saya meninggalkan bidang tsb pada pekerjaan.
Thesis tsb ada di Program Pasca Sarjana Material UI di Salemba, kalau di Jakarta coba bisa tanya ke petugas untuk liat. Ada 2 thesis yg sama dengan tujuan anda.
Tapi yg paling mumpuni sebaiknya anda coba kontak bapak Ir.Indarto Katim di Puslitbang Metalurgi LIPI Serpong, beliau orang tambang metalurgi yang bertahun-tahun berkutat pada penelitian ekstraksi Rutile di pasir besi. Saya pikir beliau lah pakar yang paling tepat untuk bertanya.

iya pak,, tentang penelitian skripsi saya ini,, dari awal sebenarnya saya juga sudah pernah mengkonsultasikan ke dosen pembimbing untuk lebih memfokuskan penelitian ke Zr,, karena mengingat presentase Zr yang cukup tinggi.. sekitar 60 persenan (pasir asli) dan Zr juga bukan material murah (dan juga banyak sekali keunggulannya,
karena ini proyek dosen,, jadi ya saya ngikut saja,, hhe..
masalah kedepannya ntahlah nanti kaya gimana,, digeser ke ekstraksi Zr atau tetap Ti,, dilihat hasilnya dulu..
sebenarnya kalo menurut saya intinya hampir sama,, walaupun fokus saya pada ekstraksi TiO2,, disini saya juga banyak belajar mengenai pemisahan Zz dari senyawa2 pengotor.. karena logikanya,, kalo bisa mengambil Ti nya,, otomatis fraksi mol Zr juga akan meningkat..

Kalau saya boleh sarankan kenapa tidak coba meng-upgrade Zr saja? Rutile kita tidak ada industrinya, bahkan pengepul di Indonesia saja belum ada. Tapi kalau Zr di Kalbar, di Kalteng sudah ada beberapa 'pengepul&#
Layar TV, HP dsb sangat memerlukan Zr. Di Indonesia (Kalteng-Kalbar) orang menambang Zr cuman seperti nambang galian C dijual kilo-an dan karungan. Saya pernah dapat proyek survey Zr di Kalteng mungkin 7 tahuanan lalu. Ketika itu Zr kalau tidak salah dijual per kg 9rb atau 18 rb ditempat dengan kadar 30-40% kalau tidak salah.
