Dear Prospective Author,

I am pleased to invite you to consider submitting a paper for The 1st Meeting of Materials Research Society of Indonesia (MRS-Id Meeting 2014) that will be held in Aston Hotel and Convention Center, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia on September 26th-28th, 2014. Abstract and/or Papers should be submitted at http://mrs-id.org/meetings/.

This MRS-Id meeting 2014 is organized by The Materials Research Society of Indonesia (MRS-Id) in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). This meeting will include several keynote lectures and numerous invited talks in multiple parallel symposia on important and timely topics from well-known researchers in materials science. This meeting will also facilitate workshops and tutorials for young scientists as well as exhibitions for industrial practitioner.

Symposia:
(A) Optics, Magnetic and Strongly Correlated Electron Materials
(B) Catalysts, Adsorbents and related materials: Fundamentals & Applications
(C) Photovoltaics and Batteries: Emerging Materials and Devices
(D) "Tear and Wear": Materials for Industries and Strong Materials
(E) Biomaterials, Medicinal Materials and Drug Delivery
(F) Advanced Materials: Green Synthesis and Nanostructured Materials
(G) Organic and Hybrids: Materials, Devices and Physics
(H) Computational Methods and Advanced Characterizations of Materials
(I) Mining and Metallurgy: Bringing up the added value

This meeting will be a melting pot that can facilitate strong interaction among scientists, academia, professional engineers, industrial practitioner, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students working in areas of materials science. Research in Materials Science is a global endeavor. Besides discussion the rapid progress of materials science research worldwide, inherent with MRS-Indonesia mission, this MRS-Id meetings will also focus on the promotion of materials related science and technology in Indonesia and the related regional area (ASEAN and Asia). Selected manuscript submitted in this event will be endorsed for publication in our partner journals.
