Rekan-rekan,

Dunia fisika partikel menjadi sedikit "panas" ketika CDF, sebuah
eksperimen fisika partikel di Fermilab Tevatron, Batavia (dekat
Chicago), IL mengumumka bahwa mereka melihat "bump/jendulan" di data
mereka yang konsisten dengan sebuah partikel bermassa sekitar 120-160
GeV. Signifikasi nya secara statistik sekitar 1 banding 1000.
Preprint paper mereka terlampir di bawah.

Blogosphere, bbrp media juga mulai mendiskusikan. Dan saya bisa
mengatakan: banyak kolega saya langsung berlari ke depan komputer
untuk mengecek apakah fenomena serupa terlihat di LHC.

current theoretical predictions within the statistical and systematic
uncertainties. In this letter we report studies of the properties of this
excess.

Saya kurang paham dengan nilai penting hasil penelitian tersebut. Bisakah Saya mendapatkan penjelasan tentang dampaknya bagi ilmu pengetahuan atau kehidupan manusia secara keseluruhan.?

Aslm. kepada rekan2 MFI mohon bantuannya, minta referensi inti ferit yg memiliki permeabilitas yang tinggi dan medan koersivitas yang rendah yang ada di pasaran indonesia (terutama bandung)....
