Coba setelah dipasangkan kabelnya, dari menu (alt+F1) pilih
System>Preferences>Monitors. Sepertinya ada pengaturan 2 monitor dari
situnya. Mudah-mudahan ini pengaturan dari Gnome, soalnya saya pakai bukan
persis Ubuntu, tapi turunannya.

Kejadian aneh ini bermula ketika windows saya crash dan terkena blue screen... Gak bisa login ke windows, pokoke tiap login pasti bluescreen. Buka buku manual ternyata ada sistem recovery windows laptop asus dari tombol F9. Setelah menjalankan recovery windows dan sistem restore selama 6 jam akhirnya berhasil login ke windows...
Masalah muncul semua file yg disimpan di drive C gak bisa dibuka, termasuk windows asli saya dibilang is not genuine oleh laptopnya..." Ketika drive C nya mau di klik muncul window kecil dgn tanda X merah bertulis WINDOWS IS NOT ACCESSIBLE. ACCESS IS DENIED"

Gimana caranya agar saya bisa melihat file, mengcopy, dan meengedit semua file di Drive C lagi? Rekan-rekan yg master disini bantu saya dong... Pusing bukan kepalang gara2 masalah aneh ini... Tks sebelumnya

kemana data bookmark firefox saya?

Kemaren windows. Saya blue bluescreeen dan. Gk bisa masuk ke system... Akhirnya saya putusin gunain fasilitas recover dan berjalan sukses, masalah muncul ketika membuka firefox saya BOOKMARK SAYA HILANG SEMUA, padahal ketika recover saya udah milih opsi no.1. Yaitu hanya memperbaiki (repair) windows saja tanpa mengganggu file2 lain... Pertanyaannya adl apakah ada cara mendapatkan data bookmark saya lagi?

Coba cari file bookmark.html Ï'ΐ folder system firefox anda. Untuk ke depannya anda bisa menggunakan addons firefox sinc, ini dapat membackup bookmark, password, history dsb Ï'ΐ server firefox, Ï'αη dapat digunakan untuk kejadian yg seperti anda alami. Kemudian apabila anda jg menggunkan firefox Ï'ΐ kompi lain, anda dapat mensingkronkannya juga. Smoga membantu...

Hai....
Saya punya laptop dengan spesifikasi:
1. Processor: inter pentium dual core T4500 2.30 GHz.
2. RAM 1GB.
3. OS: dual boot
a. Windows7 starter
b. Ubuntu 11.04
4. Hard disk: hitachi HTS545025B9A300 = 222GB Dibagi menjagdi 3 partisi yaitu:
a. C: (NTFS)= 134GB. Tempat terinstalnya windows7 starter dan program2 lain.
b. E: (NTFS)= 66GB. Tempat penyimpanan file multimedia dan dokumen
seperti musik,video,installer dan pdf ebook.
c. /: (ext4) = 20GB. Tempat instalasi ubuntu 11.04.
d. Selebihnya 2gb partisi untuk swap.

Yang ingin saya tanyakan, bisakah saya menginstall windows7 pro (baru)
di partisi drive E: tanpa mengganggu partisi, os dan file lain (tanpa
menghapus windows7 starter lama dan ubuntu juga file yg ada di drive
e: )?
