Konsul Jenderal Indonesia di Chicago berkunjung ke Fermilab

Tanggal 29 Mei 2009 Fermilab mengundang para konsul jenderal perwakilan negara-negara Asia-Pasifik ke Fermilab dalam rangka Bulan Peringatan Asia-Pasifik (Asia-Pacific Heritage Month).
Indonesia diwakili oleh Bapak Stefanus H Suwaryanto, Konsul Jenderal Republik Indonesia di Chicago, dan rekan Rahmat yang saat ini bekerja untuk CMS Collaboration dan University of Mississipi, dan ditempatkan di Fermilab.
Foto bersama para Konsul Jenderal, Direktur Pier Oddone dan Wakil Direktur Young-Kee Kim, dan bbrp fisikawan di Fermilab yang berasal dari wilayah Asia-Pasifik bisa dilihat di warta harian Fermilab Today edisi hari ini

Kutipan dari Fermilab Today:
"Consulate members from the People's Republic of China, India, Indonesia and the Philippines visited Fermilab on May 29 in celebration of Asia-Pacific Heritage Month. Fermilab Director Pier Oddone welcomed the consulate members and described particle physics in a nutshell. "The kind of questions that we ask and try to answer are universal. It is very easy for us to bring the world together," he said. "We come together and share. It's a wonderful field for that reason." After the presentation, the consulate members spent the day touring Fermilab and concluded with the Asian tea festival and art display in Wilson Hall."
