Coba cari dengan bantuan paman gugel, masukkan keyword "dual boot".
Banyak sekali refensi alamat situs yang akan dapat anda dapatkan untuk
tutorial dual boot. E.g:

Kalo untuk HDD ex secara garis besar (sepengetahuan saya) sudah bisa
dipakai untuk boot Linux.

aku pernah install linux dan windows dalam 1 HDD,
trus file sistemnya bentrok,
aku saranin pake Virtual Machine aja, atau VM ware
dan software2 sperti itu lainya.
lebih gampang, tapi RAM -nya agak harus besar.
